February 16 – Third Place Books – Lake Forest Park, WA. 7:00 p.m. PNBA award ceremony/get-together/author event, open to everyone, come on down.

February 20 – Barnes & Noble, Northgate – Seattle, Washington. Reading and Q&A. 2:00 p.m.

March 5-7 – Potlatch, the Convention – The Hotel Deca, Seattle, Washington. An all-volunteer, non-profit, literary event for the readers and writers of speculative fiction.

March 25 – Think Out Loud, Oregon Public Broadcasting’s show Northwest Passages. Precise location will be the Portland studio; but you can log in and watch, send in questions, or call in to the show via that link.

March 26 – Powell’s at Beaverton – Beaverton, OR. Signing, reading, Q&A. 7:00 p.m.

April 3 – Olympia Timberland Library – Olympia, WA. Reading, chatting, Q&A starting at 5:30 pm.

May 22-23 – [Guest of honour] Victoria Steam Exposition – Fairmont Empress Hotel on Victoria’s historic inner harbour – Victoria, BC. A Celebration and Exhibition of Steampunk Art & Culture.

May 25 – Steam Salon, Madam X, New York City. A free and open-to-all event featuring yours truly with George Mann and Felix Gilman, reading and mingling. Shenanigans get underway at 7:00 p.m. and run through 10:00 p.m. (at least).

May 25-27 – BookExpo America – New York City. Signing, paneling, and hanging out at the Jacob K. Javits Center from Tuesday morning through Wednesday afternoon.

June 25-28 – ALA annual conference and exhibition – Washington, D.C. I’ll be appearing as part of the science fiction and fantasy program with the Library and Information Technology Association.

September 3-6 – DragonCon – Atlanta, GA, Labor Day weekend. Host hotels: The Hilton Atlanta, Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Marriott Marquis Atlanta, and the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel.

October 1-3 – [Guest of Honor] VCon – Vancouver, BC. Vancouver’s Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Gaming Convention.

October 5 – University Book Store – Seattle, WA. Reading, signing, Q&A beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the University District.
