Things accomplished in fiction: Introduced ourselves to the San Francisco “House” and quickly learned that we were in trouble, but not trouble of the unmanageable sort. Winged it, which went as well as could be expected.
Things accomplished in real life: Day-job work; cleaned house a bit; went to post office; went to grocery store; went to Walgreens; exchanged a handful of business emails/phone calls; didn’t have a whole lot of time for writing, but squeezed in a bit.
Other: Out-of-towners swinging by tonight. I need to wash my face, brush my hair, throw on some grown-up clothes, et cetera. [:: vanishes in a poof of bathrobes and footie socks ::]
