Just wanted to take a work-break and say thanks to the folks at Oregon Public Broadcasting for having me on their show Think Out Loud this morning. It was so much fun! I got to wear the big fat headphones and everything.*
And now, real quick, I just want to remind everyone that tomorrow night — March 26, at 7:00 p.m. — you can find me at Powell’s (the Beaverton location), reading, signing, and answering any questions you see fit to fling my way. Please come out and see me!
* I’ve done radio before, but usually in a pre-recorded fashion or via phone – so I don’t often get to come into a studio.

I picked up your book at a whirlwind trip at Costco…I didn’t really read what it was about.. I just saw.. CivilWar..Klondike..Seattle .. hmm that should be good. Then when I got home..I(Soap Lake, WA ) saw the words Sci-Fi…well ..I don’t read Sci-Fi.. but what the heck I thought..at 62 years old it’s time to try something new..You hooked from the get go girl !! I t was such a good book..I never re-read books but is one I will..Your words are great.. I had a movie going in my mind the whole time I was reading..I was sorry it ended… Thanks so much and I look forward to reading more of your books..

Got to love NPR. I heard your interview that night just because I had to make a quick run to the store for kid Tylenol. Next day, I was at Powell’s getting your book. So far I’m stunned. Well done, amazing work. Thanks!
