Friday night wrap-up

As of late this afternoon — Dreadnought copyedits have finally been sent back to Tor, along with thanks/acknowledgments and other miscellany I should’ve written ages ago, but didn’t. I’d like to take a weekend to celebrate and relax, but in all honesty, that’s not going to happen. I have two more hearty deadlines pressing up against this one — including rewrites for Bloodshot, which are going to eat up my next few weeks.

And somewhere, in the wee slivers of time left over after Things Which Won’t Wait, I’d really love to start this other fiction project. It’s driving me nuts, but I might not have the spare minutes to get a good foothold on it. We’ll see.

Anyway, for those of you who’ve been asking how that Tor sequel to Boneshaker is coming, there you go. It’s creeping steadily through the publication queue; and if all goes according to plan, it should be available sometime this fall.

Thanks for the good news about DREADNOUGHT.
It is a shame that you don’t find time to celebrate and relax.

Good luck for your other fiction project.
