Now it can be shared: Audible’s production of Boneshaker — read by none other than the superlative Wil Wheaton (Zeke’s chapters) and the marvelous Kate Reading (Briar’s material) — is now available for your downloading pleasure.
I. Am. SO PSYCHED about this. My first audiobook! EVAR! And WIL IS ONE OF THE READERS! Honestly, I just can’t thank him enough for coming on board — for it was mega bonus super awesome of him to do so. His reading of Zeke is charming, nuanced, and just freaking perfect. [Edited to add: - The sample clip on the Audible site features Kate; but people were asking if they could hear Wil read, too. Ask, and ye shall receive via Macmillan Audio: Wil reads Zeke.]
Thanks also to Kate Reading — for her presentation of Briar expertly conveys the fragile authority and grasping determination of the character. She too was an excellent pick.
I just … I can’t even begin to tell you guys how grateful I am for all the hard work these two have contributed to the production; and I’m so damn excited about it that I can hardly see straight. My first audiobook! With the best damn readers I could’ve ever dreamed of asking for! And it’s finally here!

Well, I think it’s awesome to have both reading, and you are also very lucky to have Kate reading Briar’s part! She’s one of my faves, and I hope having her as a reader will bring some of her fans to your book. But MacMillan needs to list her in the credits – same as Audible! She has a big following. :-)

Oh, I agree they should list her — and I don’t know why they didn’t …? That kind of thing isn’t up to me, I’m afraid. :(

Congratulations! I’m so psyched about this; I know so many people who prefer audiobooks to printed materials (a travesty), so now they don’t have an excuse to turn me down when I tell them about Boneshaker! :)

CONGRATULATIONS! I am so, so excited for you! Can’t wait to start listening … rats, I just bagged the work commute, but that’s okay, I’ll sit in the car and PRETEND!

How awesome! Congrats, Cherie!
Now I must run off and get all my fellow blinks to nab their respective copies. ;)

I don’t normally do audiobooks, but I just might have to make an exception for this one… Congrats in the biggest way!!
