Jeff, are you talking about the large trade paperback Sci Fi Essentials edition of Boneshaker?

http://www.amazon.com/Boneshaker-Sci-Fi-Essential-Books/dp/0765318415/

I nabbed it for $10.87 on Sunday from Amazon. Was it ever actually $7.99? The MSRP on the back cover is $15.99--that would be quite a cut.

Anyway, can't wait to dig in!

Boneshaker is back on Amazon... and the prices are up 50% from when I bought my copy for the Kindle three weeks ago for $6.49. Of course, the same is true for the paperback, which has increased from $7.99 to $10.87. :(

I e-mailed Amazon about Fathom the other day and they just said they aren't selling it and I could buy it from a 3rd party seller. I got an e-mail last night that it is available to order. I already ordered it :)
I wish I had a UBS in my area. My only choices are Borders, Amazon and Atlantic Books (a smaller chain). There used to be one by my mom but they closed a while ago.
Thanks for that Stranger link. I'm always looking for more stuff to read :)

Oh c'mon, of course Steampunk has to be about Victorian England! The rest of the world was sucked into a wormhole of sorts from 1850-1950 (gregorian calendar), making England the only extant plot of land this side of the 9th dimension.
And how are people realistically supposed to discuss places that exist outside of space and time?! It can't be done, Cherie. We have to stick to the facts, we Steampunks, lest we upset the reviewers for Romance magazines with our historical inaccuracy.
That pissy American reviewer there was only trying to set you straight.
