For the next few days, I’ll be lurking around in the Barnes & Noble forums — where Boneshaker is a November book club feature — answering questions and doing my best not to post any spoilers. If you’re a member, drop in for a digital visit and fire away. If you’re not a member, registration is free and easy and only takes a moment.
Here’s your chance to ask me anything you like, or just follow the conversation — whatever makes you happy. Click here to dip your toes in the mayhem.

Hi Cherie,
I loved Boneshaker and love your style. I think that you have a wonderfully envisioned world, though I would appreciate a deeper dive into the tensions that you set up in the novel. I would like to see a follow up that explores the interaction between those that have lived inside the wall with those outside once the gas overtops or escapes its confinement. Also, one suggestion: Would you consider linking to the buy page for B&N in this post instead of Amazon? It seems that B&N is trying to promote you, maybe you should do the same.

Thanks. I’ve changed the link for this post because you’re right; but I tend to use Amazon as a default because they almost always offer it cheapest, and because my husband works there.
Do you work for B&N? I’d be curious to know, as I’ve heard stories about B&N folks looking for such posts, requesting such linkbacks.

Hi Cherie,
Nope I don’t work for B&N, I’m just a busybody. I shop almost exclusively at Amazon (especially since I signed up for Prime), it just seemed ironic to link to Amazon within the context of the post. Please feel free to delete my original post (and this one) if you want.
