Thanks Kai! And Colleen, that's cool. Yeah, we drove by Anacortes and I was all, "Lookit that cool old town!" Anyplace that leaves advertisements painted on the sides of buildings is all right with me. :)

Yep - I live in Anacortes. I'm about ten minutes from the bridge.

The last time we went my husband refused to walk the bridge...for a pilot he's oddly averse to heights. We saw some seals though and it was awesome.

I can't imagine what it must be like to cross that thing in the wind though - we get some stories here in the winter and I bet it's terrifying.

Oh hey! I was just there a week or so ago. Amazing bridge, and amazing pass. I really like the photo you got of the tree-labyrinth.

Really? I didn't know you were THAT close :) And yes, of course we walked the bridge -- it was really lovely!

Ah - you probably drove right past my house (or close enough) to get to the Pass! Did you walk across the bridge? It's too cool, isn't it? We love the trees down there - the whole park is great.

Ah, such is life. The bitter with the sweet. I can, and have, even earlier today, used smaller sized images. I'm just a glutton for high-res. And Cherry Garcia ice cream, but that's another issue.

Aw, thanks dude. But I'm just using a dinky little digital point and shoot; the pictures are saved at 800x600, but no larger. I've already deleted them from the card ...

Longer arms, or a wider lens. The wider lens would be easier to come by. BTW, I love your pictures. You have a great eye for impact and composition. Thanks.
