I just realized something--and its phenomenal enough that I just HAVE to post two comments in a row--I read your story the other day, linked to Wil Wheaton's blog, and was completely blown away by it. IN FACT, I kind of credit that story for helping me muddle through several consecutive days of writer's block, cuz I was so totally inspired by the whole tone of the thing. So, uh, that's so weird! Had I known that you were the one who had written that story, I likely would have been slobbering all over you when I met you today. So probably it was a good thing that I didn't realize it until right now.

Hi Cherie, I just met you this morning at Orycon, then I stumbled on your blog while googling around looking for your books, and I am so glad I did. I shall link to it immediately.
