Sunday Afternoon Whatnots

I’d like to get a little more writing done today, but Aric will be home from his martial arts class soon and if I don’t get out of this apartment for a few hours, I’m going to go crazy. For the last couple of weeks I’ve done almost nothing but stay inside and work; and even though this particular just-barely- gotten- started-good writing project is more for fun than work, I’m still feeling the need to take a deep breath and step away from the laptop.

Maybe I can con Aric into coming down to the arcade and shooting a few zombies with me. I could really use some quality time with House of the Dead 3 right about now.*






* They’ve got HOTD4 there, but my protagonist is more of the shotgun-brandishing type, not the semi-automatic type. So, uh, let’s just call it “research.” Ooh! I wonder if I could claim Gameworks expenditures as tax write-offs … hmm …
