Home Again

I’m back from SEBA, and while I began to write about it over here, I probably won’t be able to do the weekend justice until tonight or tomorrow. Even so, if you want Chapter One of the great adventure, click that link and happy reading. More to come.
To sum up quickly – I had more fun than any girl ought to have a right to. Am besotted with Tor and all of its representatives. At present, am hopelessly exhausted from all the excitement and travel, but I must say – ’twas worth every moment of it.

I’m starting to get emails from people doing the, “Ooh! ooh! I saw your book for sale!” dance, and I am flattered/bewildered/delighted to hear that it’s being stocked/seen/purchased at this date. Yes, I thought it wasn’t supposed to hit the street until October first, but who cares! If you find it, by all means feel free to buy it. Come tomorrow morning, I’ll dash over to the post office and set up a P.O. box so you can send it to me for signing, if you like.
It is hypothetically possible that it’s turning up at so many Barnes & Noble stores because of a recent review by Paul Goat Allen (of Barnes & Noble, FWIW) — which I’ve added to my Reviews page on this site, if you’d like to click and read an excerpt of it. I was absolutely speechless when I read his thoughts on the book; and I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to find that he’d like it so well, and that they’re going to “feature” it at B&N for October. The bliss is positively blinding.
But for now, I must make like a horse patty and hit the trail. Jym is waiting on me to go run some afternoon errands, and I’m starting to get a little nibbly for lunch. Thanks to everyone who has sent comments, support, and news over the last few days — I’ll try to respond to it all before heck gets chilly.
;-)
